RESERVATION, CONFIRMATION, PAYMENTS, AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Reservations
Once the customer requests a reservation for a tour or ferry, we will check availability and confirm as soon as possible.

Payments
A 100% payment of the total value is required at the time of reservation confirmation.

Payment Methods

  • Bank transfer.
  • Online payment with credit/debit card through PayPhone or Stripe.

Reservation Confirmation
To confirm the services, the following information is required:

  • Full names of passengers.
  • Age.
  • Nationality.
  • Passport number or national ID.
  • Origin hotel and destination hotel.

SERVICE CONDITIONS

Tours and Ferries

  • Each passenger may bring one suitcase of up to 23 kg and one carry-on bag.
  • If you wish to bring an additional suitcase (up to 20 kg), an extra charge will apply, payable on the day of boarding.
  • If the customer does not arrive or is not present at the start of any service at the scheduled time and place, or cannot do so for any reason, including lack of valid travel documents, no refunds will be granted. In the event of occurrences such as natural disasters or any other circumstances beyond our control that materially prevent, negatively affect, or otherwise materially impede the service, no amount already paid will be refunded, in accordance with the current Tourism Law of Ecuador.

Recommendation
Remember to adjust your clock and mobile devices to Galápagos local time (UTC -6).

Travel and Accident Insurance
It is the passenger’s responsibility to have travel insurance that covers both their luggage and their well-being. Ocean Pass Galápagos is not responsible for any losses or damages during the trip.


CANCELLATION POLICIES
You may cancel your reservation by sending us an email.

  • 30% of the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • 50% of the deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is made between 15 and 5 days before the start date of the tour or ferry.
  • 100% of the deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is made 4 days or less before the start of the service.
  • In the event of a positive COVID diagnosis, the same cancellation policies mentioned above will apply.
  • Policies may vary among service providers; we will consult with them first for any cancellation request and charge the stipulated penalty.

DATE OR ROUTE CHANGES
Changes in date or route must be made at least 3 days in advance and will incur a fee of $10.00 per passenger. After this period, changes will not be permitted.
For groups of more than 8 people, changes must be requested at least 20 days in advance. Changes will not be accepted after this time, and the fee for changes is $10.00 per person.


IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Itineraries and activities are subject to change due to weather conditions, force majeure events, or regulations from the Galápagos National Park. Passenger safety is our priority.
  • Activities undertaken by the passenger are at their own responsibility.
  • Health/Medical Condition of the Customer: The customer confirms and declares that they are in good health and do not suffer from any serious medical condition that may worsen by participating in the services, some of which may be physically demanding. If the customer cannot complete the service due to intentionally undisclosed health conditions or health issues that arise before the trip, they will not be entitled to request a refund or compensation from Ocean Pass Galápagos.
  • Limitation of Liability: Ocean Pass Galápagos reserves the right to limit its own liabilities according to the laws and regulations in force in Ecuador.
